LUNAR LANDER BEEHIVE
Oh, Beehive! vertelt het verhaal van hoe bijen onze aarde kwamen cultiveren en maakt gebruik van de beeldtaal van de eerste maanlanding. Het werk betreft een maanlander, gemaakt uit hout van eenzelfde type pallet (nd-1 container), naar het model van de maanlander van de apollo11 missie, gebouwd op ware grote. Daarbij komen 2 mannequins, gehuld in imkerkledij, witte pakken, die de link leggen naar de astronauten die de maanlander bemanden.
Als mannequins gebruikte ik 2 flexible male figures. Ik werk vaker met decors en ensceneringen en die komen zo wel van pas, plus is ook de bedoeling om de officiële fotoreeks van de eerste maanlanding te recreeren, zeer handig met die mannequins!
